SUMMARY:International Student Walking Tour
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Georgia Tech! We are excited to meet you all and we wanted to personally welcome you to our MSE Graduate Student community. \n  \nWe wanted to invite you to the International Student Walking Tour on Wednesday\, August 14th at 4pm. \n  \nThe tour is open to you and your friends and family. The tour will bring you to some of the campus highlights and provide you with some helpful information to ease your transition to Georgia Tech. You will also have a chance to meet other new and current MSE graduate students and ask any questions you have\, particularly any questions that you may have as an international student. \n  \nThe tour will begin at 4 pm starting at the Barnes and Noble at Tech Square (48 5th St NW\, Atlanta\, GA 30308) and will be approximately 1 hour long. This will be a walking tour so remember to wear seasonally appropriate clothing and hydration if need (it gets hot in Atlanta!!). We will provide snacks and refreshments during the tour! \n  \nPlease let us know if you are attending through this link for this event. We look forward to seeing you all and have a restful summer. DESCRIPTION:GSAG will be hosting the annual Welcome Poster Session to be held on Friday\, August 16th from 4-6pm in the 1st and 2nd Floor Atriums of the Love Bldg. This event will welcome to the new students and to allow them to learn about the wide variety of research being done in the department. Additionally\, this will be a great opportunity to socialize with other graduate students in the department as well as share our research with each other. DESCRIPTION:Hi MSE Friends! \n\nNext week we get to welcome the new graduate students to campus! \n\nI’m sure that you all read every single email that student groups send out\, but in case you missed one\, GSAG is hosting a poster session from 4-6pm on August 16th to welcome the new students and show them all the awesome work that we all do. \n\nDon’t get us wrong\, we at MRS love posters\, but we love cookouts even more.  So\, during the poster session\, we will be hosting a welcome cookout in the plaza outside of the Love building.  Chef Matthew Pasquale West will be manning the grill\, so rest assured the burgers will be top notch.  Vegetarian options will also be available\, as well as a host of other snacks and beverages. \n\nWe’ll see you all at the MRS Cookout on August 16th at 5:00pm!
